Use the journal resource links located with the IRC OneSearch to find professional book reviews for children's books. In many cases, reviewers will provide a suggested grade level range with the review. While other factors should be taken in to consideration, this is a great starting point for evaluating a selected title.

Reminder from the IRC News & Information blog: "Students are encouraged to preview, read and evaluate books before using them in a classroom setting. This step is necessary to determine if selected titles are appropriate for individual classroom situations. If you have questions about a particular title, consult with your professor or cooperating teacher before using it in the classroom."
